Just about an hour or so ago Miki tweeted that it is indeed a new show number by Kenji Miyamoto !!

Miki will be skating in an open-air ice rink in Tokyo on New Year's eve.
This is for a TV variety show but spectaters can watch her live free of charge.

Miki modeling as a beautiful Japanese bride? This is a fantastic idea. Miki would make a great super model. The Wind of Asia. Post pics of our ice princess Miki in the show in February if you can Sorcerer.

It became known that a TV variety show to be aired on Jan 8, in which Miki and the pro-skater Takeshi Honda (World bronze medalist) were to appear, cancelled its video shooting that was planned to take place on Dec 15th, in respect of Mao's and Mai's mother's death on 9th.
It was the production side that cancelled the take and not the skaters, but the two were indeed reported to seem uneasy to be ready to look joyful in such an amusement take.

Miki, Mai and Mao were quite close to each other when they started skating, that they stayed overnight in each other's home often.

As I sorcerer personally see, Miki seems still in shock because she hasn't tweeted nor posted on FB since Dec 9, the day Mrs Asada passed away.
Let's wait a while till she says hello to us on twitter or facebook or whatever.

Great update Sorcerer. Miki's cancelling appearances out of respect for her friends Mao & Mai show what a wonderful person she is. With Miki at her side, Mao, the queen of the triple axel, will come through this sad time stronger then ever. Miki and Mao's greatest moment lies ahead in far off Sochi where both will stand in glory on the podium adorned with gold and silver. The ladies of Team Japan are invincible.

Update noted Sorcerer. I think the skaters would have probably cancelled anyway out of respect for Mao. With Miki at their side, Mao and Mai will be fine and stronger then ever in a short time.

OMG! Miki looks gorgeous in both vids. Miki looks soooo beautiful in the black dress with her hair down. Her earings and jewelery were dynamite! She's so fashionable. Whose the lucky guy with the hat on? This vid was fantastic!! Miki arrives in a limousine as her fans stand off to the side. These off ice TV vids are great Sorcerer. Thanks so much. Mao was featured as well. That other vid of the small rink was great also and Miki took the small rink in stride. Shes a real champion. Its rare when great beauty, personality and great talent are combined in one person. This is why we love our Princess Miki, our World Champion and future Olympic gold medal winner. I hope Miki has a very happy and healthy 2012 and goes from victory to victory in the 2012 GP season.
